Do I need Flash knowledge to customize my map?
No. Customization is very simple and requires no Flash knowledge whatsoever. You don't even need to own Flash. Simply, edit the XML file to change links, the colors, descriptions etc.
What is XML? It sounds complicated!?
It's not complicated at all. XML is a very simple way of storing data. The Flash program is based on the data you provide in the XML file. Below is what the United States part of the XML file might look like:

XML can be easily customized using Notepad or another text editor.
How difficult is it to install the map?
It is quite easy to install the map. You just upload two files and copy and paste some HTML code into your web page.
Will you help me install the map?
Yes, we provide free email support if you have questions about basic customization and installation. We'll even call you, if necessary, to get any problems figured out.
Will the map work with Wordpress or some other Content Management System?
Yes, it will. We have successfully installed maps on such setups and would be happy to assist you with installation.
What if I need additional customization that cannot be done via XML?
If you want to make significant changes to the core Flash file, we also offer our services as paid consultants. Contact us for a quote.
What if the map doesn't work for me?
You can return it within 30 days for a full refund. There is absolutely no risk. If you seek a refund you must remove the map from your site immediately.

Why is XXXXX island country missing from the map?
The map is to scale. So, islands that are too small may be omitted. They simply aren't big enough for a user to click on. The easiest solution is to create a location marker for the island you want to add. Location markers have all the same functionality of countries. You can choose to represent the island with a square or circle, choose an appropriate size, color, and even hide the location when the map is zoomed out. If you require a different solution, we can also do custom work.
Can I change the color of each individual country?
Yes, you can.
Can I turn the zoom off?
Yes, you can.
What map projection did you use?
We used the elegant Robinson projection. It took some magic to make latitude and longitude work with this projection, but it was worth it!
Can I use the map on multiple sites?
No, each license is only good for one site. If you want to use the map on multiple sites you must buy multiple licenses. If you're interested in using the map on many sites please contact us to purchase a developer's license.
